They say a picture is worth a thousand words. As someone who happens to love words and writing, I can’t agree more! While words can express so much, there are certain aspects of it that are best captured by pictures! And this West Texas engagement session reminded me of that! You don’t want to miss this one!
It was windy… again. It’s always a bit disappointing when it’s windy on a session. Sometimes it’s a good idea to just reschedule, but Tina had already gotten her hair and makeup done by the time the wind picked up. So we went ahead with the session, and I’m glad we did. It turned out beautifully!
Tina and Frank decided on a pond location for their session. There is a bridge across the pond and trees that give the perfect amount of glow when the sun shines through! Tina’s navy dress was a perfect choice, complemented by Frank’s gray shirt.
This session was a relaxing one. We moved about, getting some shots on the bridge, then moving to the side of the pond. The wind made me work a bit harder to get the right angles without having Tina’s hair in her face, but it actually helped get some pretty pictures, with the wind blowing her dress! I loved their genuine smiles and laughter throughout the session! You can tell they are so happy!
One of my absolute favorite shots from this day was when Frank picked Tina up! The pictures were so cute! I also love the soft moments during the session.
Tina and Frank, I had so much fun working with the two of you! I can’t wait for you wedding in June! It’s going to be beautiful!
