One year of marriage is worth celebrating, and what better way to do that than getting into a lake, right? You do not want to miss Hannah and David’s Buffalo Springs Lake anniversary session!
I’ve taken Hannah and David’s pictures several times since they got engaged (I’ve done several “just for fun” sessions with them. You can check out one here!) So for their anniversary, they wanted something different. Buffalo Springs Lake was the perfect location for that!
I shot the session on a Monday, so there weren’t very many people on the beach area, which was really nice. Hannah and David chose to have a formal outfit and a casual outfit. Normally, I would start with the casual and then have them change into their formal outfits closer to golden hour. But since they wanted to get into the water with their casual outfits, we started with the formal. Hannah’s flowy dress was perfect for a romantic feel for the first pictures! We got some stunning images the first half of the session!
With the casual outfits, they got into the water. We got some fun playful shots. They turned out so great! I mean, who doesn’t want to run along the beach and splash around in the lake with their favorite person, right? I think my favorite was when David gave Hannah a piggy-back ride. It was such a cute shot!
This session was the perfect mixture of romantic and fun! I love it when my clients trust me, even if it might seem a bit weird or feel a bit awkward. Trust me the results are so worth it!
