Young and innocent, yet growing into a beautiful young lady… That is what I wanted to capture with this golden birthday photo shoot, and I think I succeeded! You’ll have to let me know if you agree!
My niece Valerie just turned nine this year. She is the one that made me an aunt, and I couldn’t be a prouder Tante. She has such a fun, sometimes silly, sometimes serious personality. She loves reading and learning new things. She shares interesting facts with me all the time. Her giggle made this session go by so fast! We had a lot of fun during her session!
Valerie’s turquoise dress with the golden accents were a perfect fit for this session! We added a couple of fun props, including a golden nine, and a beautiful personal cake by Jessie’s Bakery. (We may or may not have had an after shoot snack. It was delicious!)
We had fun with some star confetti, creating some of my favorite images of the session! Valerie had a lot of fun throwing the confetti into the air and blowing it toward the camera. She also really enjoyed twirling in her dress. You gotta do that if you have a twirly dress, right?
