Earlier this year, I took Johnny and Mary’s pictures at a coffee shop in Lubbock for their twenty-fifth anniversary. (You can see that here if you missed it.) So I was excited to work with them and their family for their anniversary celebration! You don’t want to miss this blog post!
We started off the day with a morning session, because that worked best for both of our schedules. It was a bit chilly, but the light was perfect! I don’t do morning sessions very often, but every time I do, I’m reminded how beautiful the lighting is!
We got a great variety of photos with the family, and I almost always called the boys by the right names. (There aren’t even that many of them, so you would think I would be able to get them straight. Oh, well. Maybe that’s why I shouldn’t do morning sessions. 😉
Later, we met again for the anniversary celebration. It was a wonderful gathering of friends and family. There was amazing food, lots of cheesecakes that were just as delicious as they looked, beautiful decor, and most importantly, lots of good visiting! There was some singing, including a special number from the Bergen children. Johnny and Mary both shared a bit of their story of how they met and the challenges they have been through. There was some laughter and some tears. The entire celebration was such a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness and their love for one another!
