They both love all things green. Their engagement session locations were both beautifully green. Now that it was time for the wedding family pictures, they were looking for something that also had beautiful foliage, but was not as far away. And I think we nailed it! You don’t want to miss this summery West Texas Wedding blog post!
West Texas Wedding-Family Formals
The location that we used for the family formals was everything they were looking for! It was nice and green, and despite the mosquitoes, the pictures turned out beautifully! Walking down into the wooded area makes you feel like you just left our small town of Seminole, TX. It’s like you walked into a whole different world. Another fun thing about this location is that this is the location where I first took Trudy and Knals’ couple pictures last fall. With all the rain that we’ve gotten this year, it looks completely different! But it was definitely a good choice on their part!
People often look down on the family formals that come with wedding days, but they are such an important part of the wedding! Getting pictures with the people that mean the most to you is so special! I love being able to work with families, whether it’s on the actual wedding day, or a couple weeks before the wedding, as this session was. And family pictures were so important to these two. Both of them put a lot of importance on family, and it shows! It was also very special that Trudy’s grandma was able to be in the pictures!
Then we got some bride and groom portraits, and guys! The light was shining through the trees perfectly to give these pictures such a beautiful glowy look! These are definitely some of my favorites! If you need any reason why pictures should be during golden hour (either at sunrise or sunset) this is it!
Trudy and Knals, thank you again for trusting me to capture your memories together! Working with both of your families was amazing! I am so excited to see where God takes you as you head into your life together!
