“Welcome to the chaos.” These were some of the first words I heard when I got to the location for this extended family session. Despite the warning, this session turned out beautifully! You don’t want to miss the Bergen’s family session!
Extended Family Session
The family opted to do the session at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. They were having a Thanksgiving family gathering, so it was perfect to do the session there. It ended up being a bit cold and windy, but the session turned out beautifully anyway. You would never tell that people were shivering.
We spent the first part of the session outside, getting a lot of different combinations. Of course, we got several group shots. The little guy stole the show as you’ll see from the pictures below! While he wasn’t too keen on the pictures, you could see how much joy he bring to the whole family! Then we made sure to get all of the different families by themselves, as well as just the children. Then of course, we got some of the grandparents with the all of their grandchildren.
After we got all of the combinations outdoors, we went inside to get a couple of picture in the entryway. I love the way they turned out!
Extended family sessions are so special! They may be a bit chaotic, but it is such a pleasure to be able to capture the Grandparents, the people who started it all, with all of their offspring!
Bergen family, thank you for giving me the privilege of capturing your chaos for you! Watching you interact, hearing about your tradition of decorating the Christmas tree together… I am grateful to be able to capture the memories of that love that you have for one another! May God bless you as your family continues to grow!
