Monahans Sandhills Couple Session

DJ and Bridget’s Monahans Sandhills couple session was an absolute dream! You don’t want to miss this beautiful session!

In December, Bridget’s sister reached out to me. She wanted to book her sister a photo session for Christmas. I thought this was such a neat idea, and I was so excited! Then in January, I began talking to Bridget and when she said she wanted to do the session at Monahans Sandhills State Park, I was even more so!

The day of the session, the weather was just a bit chilly, but with just a touch of wind and the warm sunshine, it was perfect.

I was excited to meet Bridget and DJ in person. They are such a sweet couple! And Bridget’s outfit choices were on point. The neutrals she chose fit so well with the sand hills.

Bridget wanted a lot of candid, so we made sure to get that. Of course, we got some of them looking at the camera and smiling too. You can’t skip those! I think some of my favorites are the sitting shots.

This was the first time Bridget and DJ had their pictures as a couple taken professionally. This definitely goes to show that you don’t have to be “experienced” in front of the camera to get amazing images! You don’t need to worry about posing or anything like that. My job is to capture your story beautifully; your job is to have fun!
