Tears, happy ones. Laughter, hugs, and so much joy! This West Texas wedding gave me all the feels!
This wedding was different than most weddings I’ve shot. It is special to capture young couples as they pledge their lives to each other. There is a joy that comes with it that is amazing. But this wedding… this wedding was different. Different but equally beautiful!
When I first met Agatha and Abe, I wasn’t sure what to expect. They contacted me through my website, so I had no idea who they were. We agreed to meet at a coffee shop to discuss details about their wedding day and see if we would be a good fit. As I was waiting, an older couple walked by the window holding hands and I thought, “That’s sweet! They look like they could be engaged…” Sure enough. It was them! They quickly informed me that they were young at heart, and it was so true. Their love for one another radiated in such a pure way.
This wedding day was so special! Both Abe and Agatha lost their first spouse, and both of their families seemed overjoyed with their marriage. When Agatha walked down the aisle, she walked first with one of her sons, then another. It was so sweet! The entire ceremony was a testament to a loving God who brought these two together, from the songs that were sung to the sermon that was preached.
After the ceremony, we took family formals. There was quite a big group even though not all of the children could make it, but everyone did amazing.
Then came my favorite part: husband wife pictures. Despite the Texas heat, we got some amazing shots that I can’t wait to show you!
Agatha and Abe, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I left feeling so blessed! I pray that God will continue to bless you in your life together!
