Fall sessions are some of my favorites! With the mild weather and the Fall colors, it doesn’t get much better than that! And Texas did a great job with the Fall colors this year! You don’t want to miss this Denver City family session!
The weather was beautiful for this session, with little wind (because you know that in Texas that is a big concern, especially in the Fall) and gorgeous sunlight coming through the trees! The colors were even more vibrant than they had been the week before.
The Neufeld family was such a sweet family! Little Diana was not feeling well, so she was not her usual self. At the beginning of the session, we didn’t get very many smiles, but she is cute enough to make up for that! Toward the end of the session, she loosened up a bit, and we got some sweet smiles!
My absolute favorite shots were the last ones we took. I had Dad take Diana a little ways away and told her to run to Mom. I wasn’t sure if it would work, since she wasn’t feeling the best. One of the first rules of photographing littles, is that if something doesn’t work, you pivot to something that works better. So I was ready to change to something else if she wasn’t up to that. But she loved it, and we got some genuine smiles out of her! We switched and did the same with Dad, and I love how these pictures turned out!
No family session would be complete without getting some shots of just Mom and Dad! It is always a priority of mine to make sure that you get some shots of just the two of you. These are always some of my favorite photos!
Neufeld family, thank you for allowing me to work with your family!
