Right from the start, I knew that it was going to be amazing! I can’t wait to share this engagement session with you!
This is the second session that I’ve done at this pond this month, and I’m not mad about that! This private location is so beautiful, with a bridge spanning the water, green grass, and trees… Give me that with a beautiful couple, and you have a perfect combination!
Greta and Abe made this session super easy! They were easy going, and I felt like I already knew them. (It may have been in part because I did Greta’s sisters engagement session several years ago, and family pictures last year:)
Greta chose to wear black, which looks classy and formal in pictures. Not everyone pulls off black, but she certainly did! It was beautiful!
During this session, we moved around the pond, getting some shots on the bridge itself and beside the pond. Then we moved to get some shots where they are sitting beside the pond. These are some of my favorites! I like getting creative with shots like that, using foreground to give a bit of blur in front of the couple. I also have started loving close up shots of hands.
A piece of advice for engaged couples: Remember that you are preparing for more than a wedding. You are preparing for a marriage. So as you go through this engagement season, cherish the moments with your fiance! Your wedding will be here before you know it, and then you have the rest of your lives together!
Greta and Abe, thank you for allowing me to work with you! I am honored to be able to capture this special time of your life, and I am so happy for you as you get ready to enter this next stage of life!
