Pond Engagement Session

Katie and Henry’s pond engagement session was so dreamy! You don’t want to miss this beautiful session!

Working with Katie and Henry was such a joy! Katie is a co-teacher of mine, and she is really the sweetest! I was honored that she asked me to take their engagement pictures!

Katie did such an amazing job with choosing their outfits. Her green dress and his black shirt went so well with the location! I’ve done several engagement sessions at this pond location, and it never disappoints. It is such a beautiful area. The trees, grass, pond, and bridge offer a lot of variety. The sun kept peeking in and out during the session, but the weather was beautiful for the occasion. By the end of the session, I already knew that I was going to have so many favorites!

My top tip for prepping for an engagement session is to come ready to have fun! This session is about capturing the love you and your significant other have for one another. So don’t stress about everything being perfect. Laugh, joke around, be as romantic as you want to… If you allow yourself to be playful and relax during your session, you will get so many pictures that feel like you! You can also add in any fun props to add to the variety of your session, or go without anything extra, like Katie and Henry did here. Either way, your pictures are going to provide so many fun memories to look back on!
