They say that one man’s junk is another man’s treasure, but I like to change the saying to “One man’s junky building, is a photographer’s treasure! Okay, that might be a little lame, but it’s not far from the truth. You don’t want to miss this beautiful, rustic engagement Session!
Tina and John decided they wanted something a bit rustic for their engagement session, and this old building was the perfect backdrop for it! There may be a bit of graffiti in some places, and some junk that I have to shoot around, but you would never be able to tell by looking at the final images. That’s one reason why it’s important to trust your photographer when it comes to locations. We see the potential of locations that others may not. Beyond what a location looks like, lighting is one of the most important part of photography. If I have good light, I feel confident that I can make almost any location look good!
We got a variety of shots using the old building, then to a different spot on the same property to get some pictures using the mesquite bushes, to get a bit of green for some of their pictures. We got all the glow in these shots, which I loved!
Overall, this session was a lot of fun! I had a great time working with Tina and John! They made this session so easy!
