Ice cream and sisters… what more could you ask for? I can’t wait to share this ice cream shop session with you!
Photos at an ice cream shop has always been a bucket list photo session for me, so I was super excited for this session. Holly Hop Ice Cream Shop is the cutest little shop! Their ice cream is amazing, and it feels like an 50’s diner. I highly recommend trying it out if you’re looking for something new in Lubbock! And if you feel like taking pictures there? Well, I’m your girl!
I had so much fun with the sisters and mom in this session! There was lots of laughter and some spilled ice cream (yes, we did make sure to clean it up), while we moved around a couple of different areas of the shop. We made sure to do several different combinations. I loved the barstools and the juke box that we included in some of the images.
How does it work when you do a session in a public area like this? Well, I always like to let the establishment know ahead of time that I am coming there. They are always accommodating, and often will be able to tell you what days and times are likely going to be not as busy. I like to plan the session around that time if at all possible. But sometimes, it still ends up being busy, and then I always do my best to be respectful of other customers. It may take some doing to work around them, but I’ve found most people are very polite.
