When you plan a trip to Fredericksburg for a friend’s birthday, you have to do a photo shoot, right? You do not want to miss this Fredericksburg birthday session!
This trip was a very last minute trip. Helen mentioned that she would like to go on a trip for her birthday, and we realized that the best time to go was only two weeks away. We jumped on the planning, and got a house booked.
The day before we left, I was packing (anyone else a late night packer?) and I almost decided not to take my camera along. I decided I would just take photos with my phone. But then I decided that Helen needed a birthday photo shoot. It turns out that she even had the perfect dress packed for the session!
We started the morning at Wildseed Farms. It was a couple of weeks too early for the flowers to be blooming, but it was still beautiful. We walked along some of the paths, taking pictures as we went.
Then we headed to downtown Fredericksburg. Of course, we had to stop at a coffee shop for some refreshment, and it turns out, they had a neat corner with great lighting! Helen likes coffee just about as much as I do, so it was a perfect addition to her session! From there, we walked down the streets, getting some fun downtown shots, which ended up being some of my favorite shots!
