It’s always a lot of fun working with other photographers! This session was no exception. I had a great time working with Mary Wiebe! Her brand session is one you don’t want to miss!
What exactly is a brand session, you ask? Good question. A brand session is a photo session for business owners. It is a great way to showcase who you are, what you are passionate about, and of course, what you do for a living. They are more than just headshots, but something that shows the heart of your business! The pictures can be used on websites, emails, social media, etc. It’s a way to show your clients the person behind the business.
Mary is a photographer who loves serving her people. Her passion comes from the fact that she doesn’t have some key moments of her own life photographed. When her son passed away, she realized all the more how important photos are. So she wants to capture those memories for others. She has a gift for capturing beautiful memories and making her clients feel comfortable in front of the camera!
Mary chose her home as the session location. With beautiful natural light, it was a great location. We started in the dining room, then moved into kitchen and bedroom to get some more shots. We got some pictures with some fun props, including some of the magazines Mary has been featured in.
This session was so fun and relaxed. I loved how easy-going Mary was. It was also fun that I had another photographer in front of my camera. Mary had a way of making people feel comfortable whether you’ve known her your whole life, or just met her, so that made the session flow smoothly.
