The LW Wedding Experience

You are getting married! This is one of the most exciting experiences of your life! Having a photographer that you love working with is so important on you wedding day! What does a wedding experience with me look like?

BEFORE YOU BOOK

When hiring a photographer for your wedding, it’s super important to make sure that you find a photographer that you and your groom can work well with. I know I’m not the photographer for everyone, and that’s okay.

You’ve probably already been looking at Instagram, Facebook, or websites trying to find a photographer. This is a good idea, because it will give you a good idea if you like the style of photography. It also helps you see if you feel like we would be a good fit (personality-wise) for working together.

If you have any questions, I am always willing to answer those! Just send me an email or message me on Instagram or Facebook.

If you feel like we might be a good fit, then we can set up a client meeting, where I walk you through a wedding day experience with me. At that point, you can decide whether you want to book me for you wedding. If the answer is yes, I can tell you that I will be over the moon!

AFTER YOU BOOK

When you decide to book, I will send you a contract for the agreed upon date and the coverage you were wanting. There will be a questionnaire for you to fill out as well that helps us get started with planning for your day. Any time throughout the process, you can always contact me with any questions you have. You also get a wedding planning guide to help with all the details of planning your engagement session and wedding day!

The first step after you book is to start planning your engagement session! The engagement session comes with all of my wedding packages. This gives you great pictures for wedding invitations, but it also gives you an opportunity to make some great memories while getting comfortable if front of the camera.

We’ll start planning where you want your engagement session. You might already know where you want it, or you may have no idea. Either way is fine. Like I mentioned earlier, the bridal guide gives some great tips for choosing locations, as well as outfits. And if you still can’t decide, we can talk over what would be the perfect location!

After your engagement session, we will finalize the details of your timeline. If there is anything we haven’t planned, we’ll do that then.

WEDDING EXPERIENCE

Then it’s time for your wedding! My second shooter and I will be there early to get pictures of your details and getting ready.

From here, every wedding day will be slightly different, but during the day, I will be not only taking pictures of your day, but making sure that everything is running smoothly. We’ll get pictures of the guys getting ready, your families, and of course, the two of you! I especially love stealing you away for some husband and wife pictures after the wedding is over, so you can just enjoy the fact that you are now married!

Throughout the day, I work closely with you as the bride and groom, but I also love being able to work with your family and friends. I know they’re important to you, so they’re important to me as well!

Sometimes getting the shot includes standing on something, crouching into funny positions, or just telling lame jokes. We will get a ton of great shots that you will love!

AFTER THE WEDDING

After your wedding is over, I am so excited to start working on your pictures. In couple of days, I will have a sneak peek ready for you!

Then I’ll start working on your blog post. I will put together a good representation of your day with your pictures and a summary of your wedding day. This shows you what your wedding looked like from my eyes, and I hope it brings back all the good memories from your special day!

Within two weeks, you will get your final gallery in an online gallery that makes it super easy to download, share, and print your images! I highly recommend changing your home screen on your phone first!

I would love to work with you! Contact me here! See a wedding here!
