It was a beautiful evening, with a slight breeze. The location was perfect. Add to that a sweet family, and you get a dream session! This sand dunes maternity session is not one that you want to miss.
Sand Dunes Maternity Session
One of my favorite things about photography is being able to watch families grow! Last year, I was able to serve the Wiebe family, and I was so excited to have them in front of my camera again, celebrating the fact that their family is growing!
There is something so special about maternity sessions. The glow of the mother-to-be as she eagerly awaits to arrival of a little one… The pride of the father, knowing that he’s going to be a Daddy (in this case for the second time)… The excitement of the little ones as they anticipate a new baby in the family… I am always so honored to capture this special time.
I enjoyed talking to Nella as she told me of her excitement that their rainbow baby was almost here! They were enjoying keeping the gender of the baby a secret from their friends and family. Little Savannah was excited for their new baby.
We went into the session with some family pictures and alternated between some with the whole family, some with just Mommy and Daddy, and some with just the Mom to be. Savannah did such a good job with the pictures. Her “Cheeses” were so cute, and at the end of the session, she wasn’t ready to be done. She also enjoyed playing in the sand in between.
Nella and Willy, thank you for allowing me to capture your special memories! I am so honored to be able to work with you again! You have such a sweet family, and I pray that you will be blessed as you welcome your rainbow baby into the world!
