Gaines County Family Session

Family Sessions… They are so important. The bigger the family, the harder it is to get everyone together and make it work, but it is so special when it can happen! This Gaines County family session went so well and was so fun! The weather was perfect and the families so sweet.

I love being able to shoot families! There is something so special about capturing families as they grow. Starting with two people who decided to spend the rest of their lives together, adding children, then in-laws, then grandchildren. It’s more than just pictures. It’s a family’s legacy.

This extended family session was beautiful! A family that started as parents with five girls and five boys, now has over fifty people in it!

There are challenges that come with bigger sessions, but this one went as a smoothly as it could! We started off with a big family shot, with all the grandchildren, children, and parents. From there we branched off into the different combinations with children and parents, grandchildren and grandparents, and individual families. The children did wonderfully during the session, and there was a lot of joking around throughout the entire thing!

Even the location was special, as it was at the parent’s home. Everyone was gathered together for fellowshipping before the session, and they continued after we left. You can tell they really enjoy one another’s company!
