Taking pictures of families is so much more than just pressing the shutter. It’s about capturing memories, laughter, the love between family members… It’s about genuine smiles, even if not everyone is thrilled about the pictures. And this beautiful pond family session had all of that! I can’t wait to share it with you!
As soon as they got out of the vehicle, I knew this session was going to be great! Helen coordinated the outfits beautifully (I mean, aren’t the girls dresses so pretty?), but it was even more than that. The children had an excited energy to them, and I knew they were going to do well for this session.
When we first started out, the children were a bit shy, but from the start the girls gave me genuine smiles! It took a bit longer to coax smiles out of the boys, but we succeeded!
I must say, my absolute picture was a walking shot with just the children. You’ll be able to see it down below. Their smiles were so genuine, and it was such a nice candid moment. I always try to get a mixture of candid shots with shots where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling.
The sunlight was absolutely perfect and gave these pictures a beautiful glow! With a beautiful pond in the background and this sweet family in the foreground, it was an ideal session.
