This has been a great year! It’s been busy, but I’ve had some amazing experiences, got to work with some amazing people, and grew a lot! Here are some of my 2022 highlights!
I shot three weddings, four individual sessions, six groups of class pictures, two maternity sessions, thirteen family sessions, five couple/ engagement sessions, and three friends sessions! And I also second shot a wedding with another photographer. I loved working with all of these amazing people! I can’t even begin to tell you how grateful I am to have been trusted to capture all of your memories!

Some highlights of the year:
Lots of time spent in coffee shops… Does that surprise you? One of my favorite things about being at coffee shops is that I am often more productive here, and that I am often with friends or family while I’m there. (I am writing this blog post at a coffee shop:)
A trip to Paris with my sisters and a friend- We walked around, explored downtown, did facials at the hotel, and had two photo sessions there.
Went to Salt Basin Dunes National Park for a photo session- It involved getting up at three in the morning, driving for hours, and hiking to our photo shoot location. It was an amazing experience. (You can read the blog post here!)
Got pictures taken by the amazing Mary Wiebe Photography.
Celebrated my mom’s birthday at the Mud Room, where we painted some pottery! It was super fun!
Went to Great Wolf Lodge with my brother’s family. We spent a lot of time at the waterpark (lots of running up stairs, finding the rides with the shortest lines, and sliding with the girlies) and then spent time in downtown Grapevine.
Girls’ trip to Angelfire- This was a huge highlight of the summer. I crossed white water rafting off of my bucket list, tried my hand at disc golf (I’m really bad at it!), and spent a lot of time with some amazing girls!
Styled shoot with some photographers- This is something I’ve always wanted to do! Big thanks to Crystale Enns and Mary Wiebe for setting this up, as well as Ruthie and Co. Events for all of the beautiful setups!
Another girl’s trip- This time to Fredericksburg. We walked a lot, ate ice cream, went horseback riding, visited some museums, and of course, found a cute coffee shop.
Day trip to the lake- I tried tubing for the first time, and it was amazing! There is something about flying across the water with the spray of the water in your face. And I only got thrown off once!
Overall, this year has been amazing! I can’t wait to see what 2023 will bring!
